This time last year I was putting the finishing touches on the Intro session of Sand Surfers and getting pretty darn excited/nervous/anxious/terrified/ecstatic! I can hardly believe it’s been a year since God blessed me with the unspeakable joy of writing and teaching that Bible study. I’ll never get over it! My world was forever changed by walking through the desert sands with the Israelites on their journey to the Promised Land. I’m forever grateful to those of you who joined with me on that journey! This September 17th I have the privilege of teaching another study, “The Point of the Summit.” While this Bible study is only 3 weeks in length (as opposed to 10 weeks of Sand Surfers!) I’m no less excited (and nervous, anxious, you get the picture!) to share what I have learned with you.
This series focuses on three distinct mountaintop experiences…but not in the traditional sense of what you may think of when you hear the phrase. Instead of the expected elation and thrill of typical “mountaintop experiences” we will look intently into deeply trying and challenging experiences of three amazing men; Elijah, Moses and Abraham. God has taught me much through this study and I can’t wait to share it with you.
If you have ever wrestled with seasons of silence and have been unable to hear God speak, then this study is for you.
If you have ever wrestled in prayer, then this study is for you.
If you have ever wrestled with making painful sacrifices, then this study is for you.
I hope to see you all there. I can hardly wait!
